Options & Upgrades

One of the really great things about the builder is that the standard options are pretty great. Granite is standard for the kitchen counters as well as a standard built-in in the living room, washer & dryer, and built-in cabinets through the house (laundry, linen closet, etc). Another benefit to purchasing in this market is the builder is throwing in lots of incentives such as a $15K upgrade credit, refrigerator, etc.

I can pick any of the Group 1 granites as standard (with 6" splash and full splash behind the cook-top) or group 2 for $1500 upgrade, group 3 for $2500 upgrade. I think that I am leaning towards the Verde Uba Tuba Group 1.

Master Bedroom

This is our duvet cover & pillow shams from Crate & Barrel. I would like to build a palette using the cool greenish/blue hues.

My Favorite Part of the House

I can't believe that I am going to have my very own soaking tub! I have not lived in a house with a bathtub since moving to San Diego 5 years ago! I am so thankful for all of the Bed, Bath & Beyond gift cards given to us as wedding gifts. I can't wait to go on a shopping spree to deck out my tub!

Furniture Layout Ideas

Here is a first pass at laying out our existing furniture to scale with adding a few new pieces:

The framing is up!

I can not believe how quickly the framing has begun! Just two weeks ago all there was just slab on the ground. I love being surrounded by those picturesque mountains.

If you look to the mid-right the opening is our front door! Time to look for a beautiful Mezuzah.
